About Me

Hello Friends!

I’m so grateful you’re here. My name is Amber. I’m a small-town, country girl who loves God, my family, sunshine, green grass, and a quiet ride in the mountains on a good horse. I’m completely obsessed with the sky—especially sunrises and sunsets. I’ve been married to the best guy for 23 years, and I’m a proud mom to seven amazing kids, an equally amazing daughter-in-law, and a sweet grandbaby who has completely stolen my heart.

Much of my life has been shaped by navigating loss, grief, trauma, and the hard, messy parts of being human. Losing my son, Teagan, to suicide in 2021 brought me to my knees in a way I never imagined possible.

In the aftermath, I found myself asking:
What could I have done differently? What do I wish I had known? How do I even survive this?

Those questions began a journey—not just of healing—but of discovering a deep passion for supporting teens and the people who love them. Early on, I felt a strong pull to become a voice for suicide prevention, to advocate for mental and emotional wellness, and to walk beside others navigating their own hard things. Not just in times of crisis, but in everyday life—so they can become the very best version of themselves and find real peace and joy along the way.

This work chose me. It’s part of what carries me through my own grief, and it’s changed my life in ways I never expected. Through my coaching, I help teens and young adults build the emotional resilience they need to face today’s world. I also teach and support moms who are giving everything they have and still feel like they’re falling short and the answers seem to be nonexistent—because I’ve been there too.

It’s an honor and a privilege to do this work. And I truly believe that if you’ve found your way here, our paths were meant to cross. ♥️

  1. Good morning Amber,
I had reached out to you last year and I have a question about your coaching program.
My 15 year old daughter is choosing not to live with me at this time.
Long complex situation not being helped by her dad and sister.
My Daughter is interested in counseling or coaching together- but is that possible with her in Minnesota and me in Wisconsin?

    1. Hi Tana- Absolutely possible to do long distance coaching with the two of you. Please send me an email at amber@honestlyamber.com and we can chat about it further. Much love and talk to you soon. Amber
